Coach Recruiting Interview
What advice do you have for players interested in Division III schools?
Find a school that is a great balance for YOU, between athletics, academics, and socially
What is the best way for players to get on your recruiting radar?
Submit a questionnaire with interest, found on our website. And then send me game film
What type of players do you look for and where?
I want a player who is equally committed on in the classroom as she is on the field. Someone who is coachable and versatile
What areas of player development would you recommend players focus on to elevate their game?
First and foremost, conditioning! Then stick skills through wall ball repetition
How has the accelerated recruiting landscape impacted your approach to recruiting?
It has impacted how early we beginning communication with prospects but also the deadlines we have for prospects to commit. I encourage you to take your entrance exams early and be in communication with your guidance counselor about sending transcripts out in a timely fashion
Are there any last pieces of advice for players and families you'd like to share?
Be proactive! Do your research on the school, the program, the successes that a team has had on the field and in the classroom. Ask questions and be clear in what you are looking for when talking to coaches!
