AJ (Arick John) Ellis

I am an aggressive, athletic goalie that focuses on continously improving my craft and leading my team. My goals are to improve everyday as a student athlete, teammate and leader.
I recently reclassified to the class of 2024 to continue to develop as a student and a lacrosse player at Suffield Academy. I was rostered as a varsity player as a sophomore and played on the varsity this year as a junior. My Lake Forest High School team finished 2nd in the state both years. My save percentage as a goalie was 65% and I currently have a 4.55 GPA. My strengths are my quick hands, agility and lax IQ. As a sophomore and junior, I took several honors and AP classes, as part of a challenging course load. I volunteer as a tutor and participate in community building events.

Devin Cruz
AJ is mobile goalie, he attacks shots well and maintains good eye contact with the ball at all times. His communication skills have him in charge of his defense which gives him field general type role to him. He is the guy you want between the pipes!
Mike Gabel
AJ has a great work ethic that shows in his game play. He makes the saves he is supposed to and is able to steal away some goals from the opponent. His quick hands and feet allow him make saves in tight. Has great quarterback style outlet passes.

AJ is the type of goalie every coach wants. He has quick hands and great footwork, shows poise when clearing the ball, and communicates well as the quarterback of a defense. His work ethic and passion for the game make me confident he will succeed at any college level.
