I have been playing lacrosse since first grade. I decided this winter to change schools and repeat my junior year. I am now a rising junior at Taft.
For years, I played midfield and took the draw for my travel team from 3rd grade until the end of our team in 8th grade. I now play defense for my club team, Sound Lacrosse and I love it. I love the challenge of playing against the opposing team's best player and trying to shut her down. I have learned how to anticipate an attacker's moves and can use my size and strength to stop a play or cause a turnover.
I made varsity at my former school, Holy Child Rye, as a Freshman and played midfield. Playing Division 1 college lacrosse has always been a dream of mine and playing lacrosse is what I love to do more than anything else.
