Recruit Profile
Selfless, coachable, hard-working player with positive attitude, strong lax IQ & field vision. High academic achiever & three-sport athlete. Well rounded individual with multi club, community & leadership involvement.

Growing up, I could not wait to step onto the lacrosse field. That opportunity came when I was 8 and old enough to do a week long summer camp. I smiled from ear to ear as high school players taught us the basics of the game. That experience propelled my love of the sport. Its quick pace, competitiveness, and team aspect hooked me. Before long I was begging for a bounce back, trying out for a recreation team, then travel, then club and finally, high school. Those years groomed me well. As a freshman, I earned a spot on varsity. On a team with several commits, I was the first midfield sub off the bench and actively contributed in playmaking, forcing turnovers and scoring (including a hat trick in a state tournament game). I am adept at using my non dominant hand and play scrappy defense earning ground balls. When on the sidelines, you will catch me cheering relentlessly for my teammates.

In addition to lacrosse, I play soccer and basketball. This past fall, I was fortunate to see how perseverance pays off. As underdogs, we made school history winning our first ever Group State title. I was a starting midfielder and contributed in our final victory as a goal scorer. During the winter, I play basketball where quick feet, good reflexes and an eye for the court serve me well. Lastly, I enjoy individual leisure sports like surfing, skateboarding, and skiing; all of which better my balance and agility.

I enjoy successes off the field too. I take Honors/AP classes and carry a GPA of 4.562. Outside of academics, I serve on Student Government and will be Vice President my upcoming Junior year. In addition, I am involved in school clubs like Model UN. I earned the honor of Outstanding Country Award during this past delegation. Further, I am a member of the Spanish Club to enhance my grasp of the culture and language. (I plan on minoring in Spanish in college.) Moreover, I was selected for two Peer Leader roles; one for my high school and another for my church. I participate in community service, play piano when time permits and also work as a camp counselor each summer.

I hope this gives you insight to my character and a glimpse of what I can bring to a collegiate team.
