My first game was as a 7th grader as the starting goalie for the JV lacrosse team at Bloomington Jefferson High School (11-1-1). As an 8th grader, I continued as the starting goalie for the JV team and was the back-up Varsity goalie. I moved to The Blake School my freshman year where we were unable to have a season due to the coronavirus. I was the starting goalie for Blake during my sophomore season (10-5-0) and had a save percentage of .510. I was also named to the First Team All Conference for the 2020-2021 season. I have also played for the Team MN 2023 lacrosse team for the past two summers. In addition to lacrosse, I also play ice hockey and soccer. I am an ice hockey goalie, joining the Varsity team at Blake as a freshman. I have also played soccer as a field player (all positions) and goalkeeper where I was on JV my freshman and sophomore years, and Varsity my junior year. Academically, I am a highly motivated student with a strong academic focus. I was in the Bloomington Gifted & Talented Program from 2nd through 8th grade until I went to Blake. At Blake, I have been taking honors classes including honors Algebra II, pre-calculus, chemistry, and physics, and AP courses in U.S. History, English, and Calculus AB. I am also a Varsity member of Science Olympiad and a member of Physics club. As a sophomore, I placed second and third in the state Science Olympiad competition. I am interested in the study of medicine and healthcare. In my free time, I enjoy weightlifting, working as a soccer referee, and volunteering at the local food shelf.
