Since taking up lacrosse in March of 2021, it has quickly become my favorite sport. I was the starting goalie as a sophomore for Jones College Prep's (JCP) Varsity team. Since then, I started playing with True Lacrosse Illinois and I'm currently the GK for the 2023 State team. I'm comfortable on the field and coming out of the cage to make plays. I have a strong understanding of both defensive and offensive sets and I'm gaining a higher Lax IQ the more I play. One of my coaches with True IL mentioned that he enjoys working with me because I have no bad habits to correct and I am very coachable. My goal is to continue honing my skills and playing at the next level in college.

I hold a 5.119 GPA and take all honors and AP classes. I'm President of the JCP Women in STEM club and Captain of the JCP Scholastic Bowl team and Lacrosse team. I enjoy volunteering as a King Conservation Science Scholar at Brookfield Zoo and was a member of the Shedd Aquarium National Oceanic and Atmospheric Association (NOAA) Coastal Ecosystems Learning team, where we created a community action project to construct a composting center for underserved communities. I'm also the Leading Petty Officer for the US Naval Sea Cadet Corps 9-1-1 Division at Naval Station Great Lakes. Some of my other interests include being part of the JCP Model UN team, performing in musicals at my local theatre company, boxing, Rugby, and working out at Flahive's Strength Training gym.
