Adam Stewart returns for his ninth year as an assistant coach at Denison. A 2003 Denison graduate, Stewart is in his second stint as an assistant mens lacrosse coach at Denison. From 2009-12 he served as Mike Caravanas top assistant, helping Denison to a record of 50-13 over that span. He returned to the staff in 2017 and has been an integral part of Denisons 56 victories over the last four seasons.

In his seven seasons on staff, Stewart has been responsible for the offense and has developed 14 All-Americans, 5 NCAC Offensive Players of the Year, and his offenses have produced the only three 100+ point seasons in Denison program history in 2017 (Liam Rooney), 2018 and 2019 (Peter Pittroff). During his seven seasons on staff he has been a part of five NCAC Championship coaching staffs and has been to the NCAA Tournament every year. In 2017, Denison reached the semifinals of the NCAA DIII Tournament for the third time in program history and Stewarts extra-man unit led the nation in productivity. He has also coached on NCAA Quarterfinal coaching staffs in 2009 and 2017 and 2019.

While a student at Denison, Stewart spent two years as a member of the Big Red lacrosse team and was a part of the 2001 NCAA Division III semifinal squad. Following injuries during his sophomore season, Stewart became a student coach under Caravana, a role he filled until his graduation in 2003.

Stewart is currently the Director of Sales for The Lax Shop in Columbus.

Stewart and his wife, Anne, live in Granville with their three daughters. Isla (7), Tallulah (5), and Bella (4).
