Addie Schuch
Recruit Profile
Aware, level-headed, high lax IQ, attacker, hard worker, strong, smart, coachable. Hiked the Grand Canyon in 2 days! Team player, asset.
When I was 11, I fell in love with lacrosse after watching my cousin from Detroit play in the Indian Prairie Tournament in Naperville, IL. The only team I have ever known is True Illinois. My public high school did not offer lacrosse, so I transferred schools in 2019 to an excellent program at St. Viator in Arlington Heights, IL. I crave the camaraderie of a high school team and I want to carry that desire into college. I crave it even more because of the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that we are all missing the season. As a strong attacker who loves scoring, I'm equally excited about a perfectly-timed assist or a forced turnover. I maintain a 4.12/4.0 GPA, while taking Honors and AP classes, including Honors Spanish. I am a member of the National Honor Society and the World Language Honor Society! As a freshman and sophomore, I made the Varsity Dance Team and the Competitive Dance Team. In 2020, I was nominated for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award by Saint Viator and I've given over 25 hours of public service while in school. In February 2020, I volunteer for A Night To Shine for the amazing Tim Tebow Foundation. When I'm with my regular teams, I always wear Jersey #24. Go True & SV Lions! Thanks.

Addie is an incredible young woman, great player and even better teammate. She would be an asset to any team. I have coached Addie for 3 years now and have watched her turn from a quiet player on the field to a dominating force. She works tremendously hard.
