Ainsley Proctor
Recruit Profile
Loud and directive on the field, explosive and reactive, positive team player and leader with the dedication and coach-ability needed for the next level of lacrosse.
I began my lacrosse career in first grade, when I saw all of my friends beginning to play. Then, I jumped on the bandwagon, however over the years, I have grown to be infatuated with the sport. As the only goalie on my travel team, Team Elevate, I know how to assess defensive strengths and weaknesses, and communicate effectively to shut down the attack. I'm very comfortable with clearing over 50 yards, as well as being assertive on the field with new and familiar defenders. I also swam on varsity last fall, and received a scholar athlete award from it. I work equally as hard in the classroom as I do on the field: I had a 103% weighted average sophomore year, and just received a 105.72% weighted average for the first three quarters of my junior year. I am an active participant in the English, Spanish, and Science honors societies. I took AP World History last year - and received a 5 on the exam - and am currently taking 3 AP classes this year. In 2019, I was elected to be a Natural Helper at my high school. Natural Helpers are elected by students to help others when they are in need of help, support, or just want someone to talk to. In addition, I am the COO for my Virtual Enterprise company at school, and I also volunteer with Junior Junior Welfare in Huntington. I am a core officer in the Math Honor Society, National Honor Society, and the Key Club, and an active member in the Science Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and English Honor Society.
