I am a tough nosed defender with a high intensity motor on offense. I have been a Varsity Starter since my freshman year at Penn. My sophomore season concluded with leading my team to a final four finish in the state tournament while also finishing first in forced turnovers, ground balls, and blocks. I am comfortable dodging and finishing with both hands and pride myself on exceptional man-on-man defense. This led to a selection to play in the Rising Star’s game for the state of Indiana both years, and was awarded the New Player of the Year award (2017) as well as the Intensity Award(2018). I am also a 2x Varsity letter winner in XC and helped lead the team back-to back NIC conference championships and was named to the all NIC team. We also had a successful postseason where my positing assisted in 9th and 11th place finishes at the State Meet the past two seasons. I am just as competitive in the classroom as I am on the field. I currently sport a 4.0 GPA and continually seek to take a rigorous course load. This includes AP Human Geography, Honors Language Arts, and Honors Chemistry. For the past 5 years I have helped raise funds to support the fight against cancer by performing a local benefit, “Dance for the Cure”.
