I have been playing lacrosse since I was 8 years old and began playing box lacrosse at 12. I've always played and loved defense. I'm a team player, hold my position, and do my job on the field. I have good footwork and speed thus I can carry the ball up field switching hands easily but also hitting midfielders with accuracy on the run. I am a physically strong player who can get low and hold those who may appear to be bigger than I. I am good on my man-on-man defense but know when to slide and double. Communication is key on defense and I am a good communicator. While I prefer closed defense, I can also play LSM when needed. I also play football and squash for my high school, in addition I work as a life guard, spend time volunteering, and play the guitar. School is a priority for me as I take all AP or advanced honors courses and maintain an A average.
