Alexa, in my professional option, is a tremendous lacrosse player. She has excelled to earn a starting varsity position and played the majority of every game her sophomore year (spring 2021). She immediately transitioned from youth lacrosse, missed a year of her high school career due to COVID, and continued to pursue a lacrosse career year round, allowing her earn this position. Alexa is a center mid-fielder, who specializes in the draw. She accrued 1/3 of our teams draw controls as well as 1/10 of the team’s ground balls (spring 2021). Alexa’s knowledge of the game is impeccable. She strives to shoot top shelf and quick to see the best opportunity to cut on the inside. She works with her teammates setting settled and unsettled pics. Alexa’s speed and purposeful dodging in transition, has proven to be one of her greatest assets. On defense she aggressively locks on to her defender, pressuring her solidly through the 8. Alexa’s thrives in intense game situations and uses her knowledge of the game against her opponents. Alexa demonstrates tremendous dedication, commitment, and hard work. Alexa works closely with her teammates to encourage them and always looks for feedback to improve her personal skills as well as team chemistry. Alexa constantly helps the coaches and athletes whenever warranted through practice and at youth camps. Her integrity, leadership, willingness to learn; while helping others learn, will continue to be some of Alexa’s greatest attributes.
