Amanda Reed
Recruit Profile
Aggressive, quick hand eye coordination, good with the left hand, positive but vocal, excellent anticipation/confident leaving the circle, attacks balls outside of the goal,
I started playing lacrosse when i was 7. I played field as an attack player until i was 11. I became a goalie because my hands were always so fast and because my coach needed one. I started taking goal seriously in the 6th-7th grade summer season. I am very comfortable and able to come out of the goal. I have always had a great sports IQ. I have also been playing basketball since I was 4. I am now currently, a 16 year old 2 year varsity starter in lacrosse and a varsity starter on the basketball team. This past lacrosse season I maintained a 55% + save rate and was goalie of the year in York County, PA. At the completion of the basketball season I was the leading rebounder and second leading scorer on the team. In my first two years of high school my teams have accumulated 3 silver district medals, 1 gold silver medal, and won the conference in lacrosse both years.
In my free time, I am very social. I like kickboxing and I volunteer at my current high school, as well as my prior elementary school.
