Ana Wesselman

2021 | MN: Edina

Recruit Profile
I recognize that working together with my teammates is what wins games. I am a coachable, versatile player with specific strengths as a defensive midfielder.

I have been playing hockey since I was six years old and decided to join lacrosse when I was eleven. Each year I have grown to love lacrosse more, now surpassing hockey as my favorite sport. In 8th grade, I made our high school 10th grade team following with two years on varsity. This is my second year playing with Team Minnesota, and I am comfortable playing any position on the field (besides goalie) and I can easily use and switch both of my hands. I would define myself as a defensive midfield player. Over the past summer, I was nominated for the All- tournament team at the Indian Prairie Showdown tournament 2018. I am a coach for my association K2 and 10U girls lacrosse teams, and I am an active member in my church. In school, I also volunteered to help younger and new students orient themselves with their classes, and my high school. I also was a Girl Scout for 5 years. I have an 3.85 GPA, and I am taking AP World History this year. I have a passion for Physics, STEM, Astronomy and History. I am working hard outside of the season using my rebounder and going to camps and clinics.
