Recruit Profile
Very coachable! Accountable, team player and natural leader. Dedicated and determined to always improve. Multi-athlete, committed to intense off-field speed & agility training. Great attitude, loves her team/coaches/family!
I started playing lacrosse when I was 5. There was one rec game, when I was 7, the goalie didn't show up and no one else volunteered, so I said "Coach I'll do it" and ever since that day I have been in love with the goalie position. I played up for my club (Pride) on a 2022 team for a year, which was an amazing experience and great learning opportunity. The next year I was bumped down to the 2023 B team. I was majorly upset and disappointed in myself. I worked so hard everyday to better my stick skills and improve my footwork. In the middle of the season, my coaches recognized my hard work and commitment and put me on the A team. It was a difficult change, no one talked to me and most of the girls had already created strong relationships with each other. After the rest of that season everything started to improve. The girls started to talk to me, and we were starting to become more of a family than a team. Then in the summer of 2019, I was 1 of 2 2023's players to make the Under Armour All-American team for the DC command team. I am taking all honors classes and currently have a 4.19 GPA. I volunteer at Hopecam (a program that provides technology to kids with cancer so they can stay connected with their classmates), Food for Neighbors (our communities local food donation program), I read to kids at my former elementary school, did the Buddy Club program (playing with and teaching kids with special needs), and volunteered with the Medical Reserve Corps helping with Covid vaccination distribution.
