Andrew Blood begins his first season as an Assistant Coach for the Men’s Lacrosse team in 2022-23.

The Massachusetts native comes to the Norton after serving on the sideline as an assistant with Lasell University men’s lacrosse last season. He helped guide the Lasers to a 12-7 record, including 9-1 in the Great Northeast Athletic Conference, and culminated the campaign with an appearance in the GNAC Championship match.

Prior to his time at Lasell, Blood was the Junior Varsity/Freshmen Head Coach for Walpole High School for three seasons. In addition, he served as the Goalie Coach and Director of Operations for Piatelli Lacrosse. His stint with Piatelli Lacrosse followed a two-year stay with Team Central Lacrosse as the Head Goalie Instructor.

Blood graduated from Emmanuel College in Boston in 2018 with a degree in History. During his three-year playing career with the Saints, Blood helped Emmanuel post a perfect 8-0 conference mark as part of a season that saw the team capture its third straight GNAC Championship. The versatile Blood saw time as a goalie and a midfielder for the Saints during his tenure in Boston.
