Andrew Grau
Recruit Profile
Highly coachable and competitive AP/honors student with high lax IQ. A true team player, willing to do what it takes to deliver a team win.
I started playing lacrosse in 2nd grade. I am among the team leaders in points on my club team, splitting time between attack and midfield. I can dodge, pass, and shoot from up top and below GLE and am comfortable using both hands. I pride myself on my aggressive ride, ability to win the 50/50 GB, off-ball movement, and team defense. I take an AP/honors level class schedule and currently have a 4.3 GPA. I made the Varsity lacrosse team as a freshman. I started at midfield as a sophomore, and I was named as a 2021 All-Conference player in NC 4A CPC and HM All-Region NC 4A West. I am a driven and focused team player, willing to play any position on the field and take on any role needed to deliver team success. I often stepped in to take Faceoffs this season, with a +60% FO win %. I led my team in GBs and was top 3 in total points, goals, and assists on our way to a conference championship and the round of 16 in the 4A playoffs. I also volunteer as a U6/U8 boys rec lacrosse coach.

Andrew Grau is the most improved player from Sophomore year heading into his Junior Season. He is a slippery dodger that has developed a great low angle shot and has a knack for finishing around the goal. Drew also possesses one of the hardest shots on the team and displays his craftiness and soft hands during critical moments of games. Drew's pin point passing is also a plus.
