Anna Hoover
Recruit Profile
I am a hardworking, disciplined, organized, and determined multi-sport athlete. I love lacrosse and am a team player. Assists are just as important as goals are.
My name is Anna Hoover and I am right handed midfielder who is also comfortable with my left hand. I have been working on my shooting skills and am strong shooting righty and lefty. I play midfield, high attack and high defense. I have played lacrosse since 1st grade at a rec league level and have played school and club lacrosse since 5th grade.
I am a sophomore at The Lawrenceville School, where I am a starter on the field hockey and lacrosse teams. I am a three sport athlete (field hockey, basketball, and lacrosse), but lacrosse is my passion. My club team is Reign Elite. I love my teammates and enjoy growing my game with them. I am a Dean's List Honors Student.
Until last year, I also played club field hockey. My team won the U14 USA field hockey Nationals last year and we won our pool playing in the U16 USA National Indoor Field Hockey Tournament.

Anna is an extremely determined, driven, and talented lacrosse player/athlete. Without a doubt, she is the hardest working and most focused athlete I have worked with in my 34 years of coaching. I can put her in any position and I know she will lead the field through her play and make her teammates better. Her communication skills are excellent and her aggressiveness is exactly what you want to see from a strong midfielder/attacker. If I could use one word to describe Anna, it would be GRIT. Anna is relentless on the field, and wants to be out there competing ALL THE TIME no matter what position. Through her athleticism, Anna has established herself as a dominant presence in the Philadelphia lacrosse community having represented Philadelphia/Pennsylvania on at least 9 Allstar teams since 5th Grade, including the 2020 & 2021 All American Command and the AU/WPLL Futures teams. While she is already one of the more elite players in the area, I am excited to see how she continues to develop and grow as a player over the next two season leading up to college. No doubt she will make an immediate impact to any program that picks her up!
