I started playing lacrosse in 5th grade. I grew up playing under coaches who emphasized fundamentals and love of the game. Therefore, I am comfortable with L and R hands and have played and CAN play every field position. I have played varsity lacrosse since my freshman season. I received the Sportsmanship award and was the second-leading scorer sophomore year. I am a member of state-qualifying varsity volleyball team and this past season my varsity basketball team made it to the Final Four in 4A. I am pursuing a STEM distinction on my high school diploma; my areas of interest are math and life sciences. I am currently taking AP Chem and AP Lang and I am in Pre-AP Calculus. I participate in numerous volunteer activities with school organizations. Some are social, such as homecoming committee, but my favorite is helping coach and officiate our high school's adapted basketball team. I am one of 5 kids; my family calls me the "mother hen" and as much as I don't like the nickname, I know it's true :).
