Annika was the captain of Oak Knoll's 2021 Varsity Lacrosse Team which ended the season ranked #1 in the State of New Jersey (nj.com), #13 in the Nation (USA Lacrosse Magazine), and compiled a 21-1 record and winning the New Jersey Tournament of Champions. At the conclusion of the 2021 lacrosse season Annika was awarded three nationally recognized awards by USA Lacrosse: All-American, All-Academic, and The Jackie Pitts Award for leadership. She also earned honors for First Team All Union County, First Team All Prep, and First Team Stars and Stripes All Division. Prior to her senior year, Annika was a member of Oak Knoll's 2019 Varsity Lacrosse Team which ended the season #1 in the State of New Jersey (nj.com), #4 in the Nation (USA Lacrosse Magazine), and was the winner of New Jerseys Tournament of Champions. Annika is now committed to playing for Coach Bokker at The Ohio State University. She was also admitted into Ohio State's Scholar Program and was awarded the National Buckeye Scholarship for her academic achievement in high school. She will be studying finance and computer science while in Columbus.

Along with lacrosse, Annika played basketball in high school. She is also very involved with her church, and was a Senior Intern her senior year (led a group of 8th grade girls to grow in their relationship with Christ by creating and teaching weekly lessons). She was awarded the "Best First Year Player Award" for JV Oak Knoll Lacrosse her freshman year. As a freshman and sophomore she was recognized by nj.com for being one of the top in her class throughout the state. In the summer going into her sophomore year, Annika earned a spot on the Under Armour All-America Command Team which won the whole national tournament. Her older sister plays lacrosse at West Point and her two younger sisters are track and field stand outs.
