I started playing lacrosse in 3rd grade when the sport came to our town. I haven't stopped since. I work hard even in the off season, always training, growing and pushing myself to be better. I love the game and the brotherhood that comes with it. I started as a midfielder but stepped into face offs after my freshman year when my team needed me and I found that I love it. Since that time, I have focused on specialized positional training and becoming an overall better athlete. I am also on my high school golf team and it provides a good balance.

While athletics are important to me, my family and my community are what keep me on track. We spend alot of time outside doing things together. Giving back to my community and sharing my love of lacrosse is something that is important to me. Several years ago, my family started a community adaptive lacrosse program for kids in our area with special needs. This program lets me work with kids who are different and lets me teach them how to socialize, exercise and play the game of lacrosse. It's one of my favorite parts of the whole season.

Academics are also important to me. I plan to major in Biology and Education in college and spend alot of my high school credits taking science courses. I carry a 3.75 GPA and currently have a 29 on my ACT. Being involved at school is also something that is important to me. To stay involved and be a leader at school, I am on the Principal's Advisory Council, the National Honor Society and am a member of the Key Club for service.

One of the things that my mom says that really sticks in my head in everything I do is "be a good human" and this is something that I word hard to live.
