Cambio joined the Lancers after spending four seasons at the University of Rhode Island helping manage their lacrosse program. She was the team manager, a representative on the URI Club Sports and Intramural Council, and also a graduate teaching assistant at the school.

Cambio has coaching experience with Higher Level LLC, REV Lacrosse, and at North Kingstown High School. She was also a film coordinator with Brown University’s women’s lacrosse program in 2020.

She graduated Cum Laude from URI with a bachelor’s degree of science in kinesiology, and went on to get a master's degree in physical exercise at URI as well. During her time in Kingston, she was a member of the women’s club lacrosse team from 2016 through 2018.
