Profile

Ritter comes to LMU from Division III Carroll University, where she was a four year letter winner for the Pioneers as an offensive midfielder. During her time as a Pioneer, Ritter became the first athlete in both mens and womens lacrosse program history to reach the highly sought after benchmark of 100 career goals as well as 100 career points. Ritter started every game in her four years at Carroll, was named Offensive Player of the Year in 2017, Pioneer Athlete of the Week, and was named one of the Team Captains in 2019. Leaving behind a legacy, Ritter was part of the 2015-16 Team that won the first game in program history, part of the historical 13-0 run in 2018 and continued to forge a path of success for the up and coming College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) powerhouse.

Prior to making her way to Lincoln Memorial, Ritter served as the Assistant Coach and Interim Head Coach at Hiram College in Northeast Ohio. During her year-long stint in Ohio, Ritter was able to coach two standout athletes that were on their way to making program history before COVID-19 shut down their season.

Off the field, Ritter has worked closely with the Kenya Lacrosse Association since May 2018. Her primary role included Marketing and Operations, mainly for the U-19 Womens National Team. She was part of the force that was able to get the first African American National Team to the U-19 World Championships that were held in Canada in 2019.

Ritter is currently in her first year as a student in the Master of Business Administration program with a concentration in Sports Management. Ariannah arrives in Harrogate after obtaining her Bachelor of Science Degree in Sports Management with a double minor in Marketing and Communication in May 2019.
