Recruit Profile
Committed to the development of myself and my team, encouraging of teamates, coachable, strong lax IQ, and positive.
I started playing sports competitively when I was very young. Basketball, soccer, cheerleading, lacrosse, cross country, track and field, tennis and skiing are among the many sports that I have tried throughout my life. I started playing lacrosse when I was in 3rd grade and fell in love. I played on a club team called Dodgers until my freshman year of high school when I switched to Nor'Easter.
Aside from lacrosse I am also a starter in varsity basketball and cross country at my high school in Avon, Connecticut. Like most athletes the pandemic affected my spring and summer sports season. Over the past year I have been very dedicated to my academics and athletics. I am currently a junior with a 3.7 GPA and take honors History, English, Current Events, and Civil Rights. I have consistently been a high honors/honor roll student in my school. My senior year I will be taking many UConn ECE level courses such as English, Spanish, Math, and History.
I am a dominant right handed player but I have consistently worked with my left and feel comfortable using both hands in games. I pride myself on my speed and high lacrosse IQ. In my preseason indoor games I scored 27 goals over 5 games and 7 goals in my high school teams first scrimmage this season.
I am also involved in many clubs at my school Including student government, yearbook and baking club. On the weekend and over the summer I also volunteer a lot of my time at my local church. I have assisted in youth classes and camps as well as work in the church garden, soup kitchens and food drives. Furthermore I referee and coach when I can for the youth program in my hometown!
This summer I plan on taking advantage of every opportunity to improve and learn that I can. Attending various camps and showcases are among the many things I have scheduled for myself.
