Recruit Profile
A multi-sport athlete who is motivated, aggressive, fast, self-disciplined, and very versatile on the field.

I started playing lacrosse in 7th grade for my school team and started playing club in 8th grade. I made varsity lacrosse freshman year, but had my season cut short. For sophomore year, I was a starting varsity lacrosse midfielder. I switch off between midfield and defense, making me very flexible on the field. I play on the circle for the draw because I am aggressive and can get possession. I am a former gymnast and now I also do varsity swimming, diving and field hockey for my school. I am the 6 dive record holder for the Upper Merion High School. I stay in shape all year round and I am very fast and strong. This helps me on defense, as I am able to transfer the ball and drop back. On midfield, I never play less than my 100%. Keeping my grades high while playing multiple sports is not a problem for me. I am taking 4 AP classes, as well as all honors classes. My teachers can describe me as a leader and hardworking, in and out of the classroom. I participate in service projects inside and out of school, National Honor Society, Spanish Honor Society, and No Place For Hate.

On our high school team, Ashley has developed into a strong defensive player that can be used on defense or in the midfield. She has incredible speed and agility which is what sets her apart from a lot of other players. Her natural athleticism allows her to be successful wherever she is put on the field which makes her a very versatile and flexible player. She creates many forced turnovers and she is excellent with ground ball pick ups because she never stops moving her feet and will beat her opponent with her speed through the ball. Ashley is extremely aggressive and will fight for any ground ball. On defense, she is able to recognize when to slide to help form strong double teams. She is also a great communicator and talks the entire time on defense inside the 8m. She's strong at transitioning the ball out of our defensive end- she can almost always get the ball out of trouble using her speed and stick skills to beat the opponent. Overall, I highly recommend Ashley because she's extremely coachable, a great teammate and one of the hardest working players on the team.

Ashley is without a doubt the most versatile player on my team. She is a core piece of my defensive unit and the reason it has built to become so strong. Ash has phenomenal 1v1 defense anywhere on the 8m. She is trusted to attack and pressure the ball and cause turnovers since she will rarely get beat, and if she does she recovers quicker than someone could get past her. Her athleticism is what takes her to the next level and is why she is just so strong. She will take risks on defense which almost exclusively pay off in caused turnovers leading to fast breaks and goals. Although her strongest aspect is Defense, she fills into the mid role perfectly when needed. An agressive and dominant player on the circle who often comes up with the draw control. She has no problem transitioning the ball to the attacking end and then continuing to support the ball finding openings to go to cage. She has the highest recruiting potential in my eyes because of how genuinely great of a player she is. 100% has the D1 drive and potential. Intense, strong, great teammate, and very coachable.
