My name is Ashley Jones. I live in Simi Valley, California, I am 16 years old and an upcoming high school junior. I currently play for the Simi Valley High School Varsity team and the Mad Dog LA club team as well as for Mad Dog West Coast Elite.

I started playing lacrosse around 8 or 9 years ago. I specialized in low defense for a couple years, but I have recently started playing attack. I play high attack for my high school team and both my club teams. I also take draws whenever needed for my high school team and occasionally for my club teams.

As a student, I try my best when it comes to academics. I finished this school year with a 3.7, while I was playing for 3 lacrosse teams and working a part time job. I have also completed a couple college courses so I can get a jump start on my college education. On top of playing lacrosse, I have a part time job at Chick-fil-A and I coach a girls elementary lacrosse team. Even with this heavy load, I still make sure to spend time with my little brother and sister who are 11 and 3.

This summer I am playing in three showcase tournaments with the Mad Dog West Coast Elite - Open team: the IWLCA Championship Cup in Maryland, the IWLCA Capital Cup in Virginia, and the IWLCA West Coast Cup in San Jose.
