Ashley Lizzi is in her first year as an assistant women's lacrosse coach at Randolph-Macon College.

"I am so excited to welcome Ashley to the Yellow Jacket family," said MK Geratowski, women's lacrosse head coach. "Her experience as a high-level player and club coach will serve her well as she transitions into the college coaching ranks. I know that she will relate well to our student-athletes and have a positive impact on the development of their mind and character."

This past May, Lizzi earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Communication & Organizational Leadership from Butler University in Indianapolis with a double minor in Sport Coaching and Recreation Sport Studies.

"I am beyond excited to start my collegiate coaching career under MK Geratowski and grateful for the opportunity that she and Randolph-Macon has afforded me," Lizzi said. "I can't wait to take my knowledge, experiences and love of the game to the Yellow Jackets!"

A member of Butler's inaugural women's lacrosse recruiting class, Lizzi was a four-year member of the Bulldog women's lacrosse program and was the head team captain for the 2019-20 season. Lizzi was on the Big East All-Academic Team from 2016-19. She was a member of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) as a junior and senior.

Lizzi was a volunteer assistant coach for the South Florida Chaos Lacrosse Travel Team from 2015-18 and for Zionsville High School in Indiana from 2017-19. She worked at the Indy Lacrosse Club as an administrative coaching intern in 2019 and as the associate head coach for the 2023 team in 2020.

Lizzi is currently working on a Master of Science degree in Sports Management through the University of Florida, planning to earn her degree in 2022.
