Autumn Rhoads
Recruit Profile
Hard-working, natural leader, vocal, speedy, aggressive, dedicated, always positive, coachable, disciplined, high lax IQ and team-oriented athlete.
I grew up playing a variety of sports (basketball, volleyball, cross country, etc.) but ultimately fell in love with lacrosse in elementary school. I am a third year varsity lacrosse player and varsity field hockey player. I am constantly putting in work at numerous camps and clinics. My love of lacrosse extends from the field to my many extracurricular activities such as becoming a 2 year One Love Foundation Teen Ambassador and working with the One Love Mid-Atlantic Volunteer Network and project teams. I have attended three Live Like Blaine Captains Conferences and graduated from the Live Like Blaine Leadership Academy. I am currently a member of the Live Like Blaine Leadership Program. I received a full scholarship and attended One Love's inaugural Summit for Youth Leaders. I interned with the One Love Foundation for the 2020-2021 school year and established the first Pennsylvania public high school One Love club.
I am in honors and AP classes such as AP World History, AP English, AP Psychology, AP Micro Economics, Communication Technology 6, and Spanish 5. I am a member of the National Honors Society, a 3 year member and 2 year secretary of my high school's Anchor International Club (which was awarded anchor international club of the year 2019-2020), member of Video Production Club, member of Sisterhood (a women empowerment club), member of Ski Club and I was a Rotary Club award recipient. I was invited to compete in three Student Television Networks National Competitions and Conventions and have placed nationally. A music video that I worked exclusively on was a finalist for the 2020 Mid-Atlantic High School Production Awards for the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences Mid-Atlantic Chapter and a television program that I am a part of, Hempfield Happenings, won 1st place in the Magazine Program category. My film was also a finalist for the Golden Lion Film Festival and accepted into the All American High School Film Festival, which is the largest student film festival in the world. I used to work at a local plant nursery and at Lindenhof Farm, but now I focus solely on babysitting and dog-sitting. I love to help the environment and am a junior member of the Pennsylvania State Beekeepers Association and help my mom with her four hives. I also love to hike in my free time.
