I have been coaching both men's and women's lacrosse for most of the past 20 years. I can easily say that Ava Skeffington is one of the rare players I have had the opportunity to coach. Her coachability, field IQ, athletic abilities, team camaraderie, and leadership truly sets her apart. Ava has been recognized on and off the field for her accomplishments, but I believe her full potential has yet to be realized. As her high school coach, I am looking with great anticipation to what is in store as we move into her Junior and Senior years. It's great to see how her team looks to her for her leadership and friendship. Ava is currently one of our top talents within our varsity program. With her very healthy GPA, athletic ability, coachability, and team camaraderie, I would consider Ava a top recruit for any collegiate program.
