I started playing lacrosse when I was 7 years old and have been playing ever since. In my freshman year of high school I started every game, was a leading scorer, and was named second team all county. My junior year I was named full field MVP for my team and earned Player of the Year in my county (39 goals, 48 DC, and 19 CT). Along with lacrosse I also compete in varsity cross country and indoor track. My sophomore and junior year I competed at states with my cross country team and was named second team in my county. My junior year I was named first team in our division at the Central Maryland Conference. I make sure that I am constantly conditioned for the long and fast sprints on the field. I am a quick and proficient dodger to goal with both hands, and have a clear vision of the field ahead. I use my speed to drive, look for open opportunities, and am aggressive to any ground ball including on the draw. In terms of academics, I have a 4.3 GPA and am in enrolled in all AP and honors classes. I am also historian for my high school's National Spanish Honor Society, treasurer of the National Honor Society, vice president of my class cabinet, and a member of SGA. In my community I volunteer at a local nursing home and have over 200 hours in community service. In the future I hope to continue improving and pursuing my educational and athletic goals in college.
