Avery Nardi
Recruit Profile
I am a coachable and versatile player who is always looking to better myself. My goal is to embody what it means to be a student athlete.
Over the past few years, my coaches have found me to be a versatile player. Coaches felt that I could play defense, midfield, and attack in any given game. This allowed me to learn how to play all positions, not just one. As I entered 9th grade, I found my home on attack where I was able to use my strength and speed to put points on the scoreboard. At school, I also play soccer and find that being a multi-sport athlete keeps me in shape year round.
In addition to school sports, I play attack for Jesters 2024 black as well on my local pick up team LI Power. I am always looking for additional opportunities to train and play. Over the past two years, I have completed weekly shooting sessions, speed and weight training, multiple practices, and have participated in every event offered to me. I feel that it is important to take every opportunity I can to get better.
While lacrosse is my passion, I take pride in my academics. I am in all honors classes and obtained a 98 average my freshman year. I am in national junior honor society and have completed over 30 hours of community service. My goal is to become an orthopedic surgeon.
With my high academics, I would like to continue my lacrosse career at a program that can help me reach my professional, educational, and academic goals.
