Azaria, or "Z" as she's known as, is a truly amazing individual. Far beyond her lacrosse prowess, which is exceptional, is her impressive "tool-set" of intangibles, intelligence & tireless work ethic. She is the smartest & most perceptive larosse player I have coached in all my years in the game. Z reads offenses & deciphers the opponents gameplan in a matter of seconds & immediately shares. She is the "quarterback" of our defense & a "player-coach" on the fied. Z is trusted & respected by her teammates. I have the distinct pleasure of coaching Azaria for high school varsity, at the club level and as an Under Armour All-American. It is a great feeling as a coach, being able to gameplan to nuetralize and elimate the opponent's #1 threat - by assigning Azaria to her. Z is like having 2-3 defenders on the field, in one body. As smart and motivated as she is, she also backs it up with phenomenal athletic ability and an impressive skill-set that is a very rare combination of speed, agility, dexterity, strength, smarts, toughness and determination. Azaria is the "complete package". She will be a great addition to a Top 20 D1 or Ivy.
