Bedard comes to Wheaton after spending the 2010-11 season as a full-time assistant coach at her alma mater, Ithaca College. Becky graduated from Ithaca in 2009 as the career and single-season program record holder for assists. In her career as a Bomber, she earned IWLCA Empire All-Region, Empire 8 All-Conference honors both junior and senior year in addition to being selected for the IWLCA Senior All-Star Game in 2009.

After coaching at Ithaca, Bedard moved to Georgia for an opportunity in Orthopedics and coached the varsity girls' lacrosse program at Saint Pius X Catholic High School in Atlanta.

Becky holds a Masters in Athletic Training and currently works as a Clinic Supervisor at Orthopedic Care Physician's Network in Easton, Mass. She has previously worked as an Athletic Trainer alongside IWLCA Hall of Fame inductee, Pat Genovese, for the women's lacrosse program at William Smith College.
