I started playing lacrosse when I was 6 for my local rec team, Fort Hunt until I joined Stars Lacrosse club in the sixth grade playing on first the Black team and then moved up to their Blue team for 7th grade. Once I reached high school, I tried out for various clubs, but the best fit for me was with the Pride Lacrosse Club. Pride lacrosse has made me not only a better player, but also a better person. In 8th grade, I began to play for my school's varsity lacrosse team during their indoor season and was selected as a varsity player my freshman year! My teamates and coaches are some of the most amazing and important people in my life and I can't wait to see where our lacrosse journeys take us. These family-like connections have impacted my life so greatly and I want nothing more than to make the same kinds of connections in college.

Over the years I have remained a flexible player -- depending on where my coach and team needed me -- I have played as a midi, an attacker, done the draw, and even as a goalie (a long time ago). As a player, I am good at looking for the open girl behind cage and cutting for the ball during transitions, clears, and on the 8. I am always looking for opportunities to share the ball with my teammates but also driving to cage , striving for a perfect balance between selfish and selfless. On and off the sidelines I am one of my lacrosse family's biggest cheerleaders!

In addition to lacrosse I participate in a variety of other interests and activities. Believe it or not, I love participating in my school's musicals! I am the president of my schools One Love club and am also involved Model UN and Service Learning. Outside of school I am an active ambassador for the One Love Foundation which works to spread awareness about healthy versus unhealthy relationships!
