I have been playing lacrosse since I was 7 years old. During the Summer of 2014, Fall of 2014, and Spring of 2015 I was the leading scorer on my U13A/U15A/U15A teams (respectively). Most coaches would characterize me as a very confident, strong, and accurate shooter from all angles and situations. My athleticism aids in clearing the ball and dodging through tight spaces, as well as, all spots through out the field. Also, my high lacrosse IQ helps with creating situations off dodges to find open teammates. I am a aggressor on defense and I'm also tenacious on offense where I can finish with both hands. This passed school year I completed 8th grade at Orono Middle School and will be a freshman this upcoming Fall attending Orono High School in Orono, MN. I also finished in the top 5 students in my grade with a 3.95 gpa and I had great success with all standardized tests, scoring in the top 5% of students in the state of Minnesota. I plan on continued academic success through high school and college. In my spare time I: worked on the Orono Solar boat project with the Orono engineering team and am proud to say we took 2nd place in the state of Minnesota as a middle school team at the high school level, spend time on the lake through water sports, practice dodging, shoot with both hands in all scenarios, and hang out with friends. I am currently interested in becoming a doctor, particularly a Neurosurgeon and see myself at a mid sized school. My favorite lacrosse team at the D1 level is UNC and my favorite lacrosse players, who I aspire to play like one day are: Marcus Holman, Tom Schreiber and Paul Rabil. I will be picking up soccer as a new sport in Fall 2015 and continue my weight lifting program to keep my athleticism as high as possible through high school. Overall, I would like to attend a prestigious school with a great medical program and particularly in the Ivy League.
