Ben Kester
Recruit Profile
Leader, great teammate, high lax IQ, hard working, coachable. X Attackman and Midfielder, but versatile at any position when needed. 3 yrs International Box Lax Exp.
I learned to ice skate at 4 years old and started playing both inline and ice hockey. I played travel ice hockey until 8th grade. I started playing field and box lacrosse at age seven. I have played every position on the field including goalie through my 7th grade/U13 season. I have international experience with former box club at the Pee Wee and Bantam Level. I was a member of the of 2015 USBOXLA Pee Wee National Championship team (Denver Elite) and 2015 Pee Wee 2nd place team in the Canada Day Tournament (largest box tournament in the world). I am not big on tracking my own statistics, but was leading scorer on both C-Level and JV teams in 2019 (Freshman Season) and awarded team offensive player of the year last season. This season I started the first game of the season at Attack for Varsity HS team (1 Assist) as a Sophomore before season was cancelled in 2020 due to Covid-19.
My grades and on-line course work are my number one priority. I am looking to make a difference in both the classroom and off the field.

Ben Kester is a dedicated lacrosse player. In my experience coaching him, he worked extremely hard each rep to improve. The strongest part of his game is the ability to find open space for scoring opportunities.
