Bennett Raphalian
Recruit Profile
Coachable, team-first, versatile lefty who can play midfield or attack. Fantastic shooter, great vision, head-up player with strong understanding of the game. Hard working multi-sport student/athlete.
I started playing competitive lacrosse and hockey when I was six years old.
In hockey I am a lefty and played left wing and defense. I have won multiple AA New Jersey state hockey titles with my travel team. Our Peewee AA team was ranked #19 in the country.
Starting in eight grade, I decided that I wanted to pursue lacrosse. I have a true passion and love for the game. As a sixth grader I played up as an attackman for my Tri-State tream that attended the World Series of Youth Lacrosse in Denver, Co. Our team finished eight in the tournament. In seventh grade I was the captain of the midfielders for the Tri-State World Series team. I played midfield and was the teams leading scorer. I was also the leading scorer of my Tri-State team in eight grade.
I am a natural midfielder who can also play attack. Starting my freshman summer, I moved to the Philadelphia Freedom Red club team. I am a first line midfielder and the lefty shooter on man-up. I am very comfortable playing and shooting with both hands. I have a dominant left-handed step down shot from anywhere on the field. My feeding ability is also a noticeable attribute. Mostly importantly, I am a team-first player.
At Rumson-Fair haven HS I play football as well. I play receiver on offense and outside line backer and defensive back on defense. I am a serious, well-rounded and self-motivated student. As a sophomore, I take three honors classes (Spanish, History and Math) and have a GPA of a 4.1. I also participate in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes as well as other local charities.
