Bill Cosentino

Profile
Hired to fill the full-time Head Men's Lacrosse coaching in the fall of 2016, Cosentino inherited a team that went 5-11 in 2016.

In three years under his watch, the program has steadily improved due to a tireless recruiting approach and the efforts of his well-rounded coaching staff.

In his first year at Saint Joseph's, the team posted a six-win season and narrowly missed the conference tournament. The upward trend continued in 2018, when Cosentino guided the Royal Blue to a winning season (10-9) for the first time in seven years as well as the program's second-ever GNAC Tournament victory. In 2019, the Monks set new team records for victories (12), winning percentage (.706), longest winning streak (10), goals (210), assists (136) and points (346).

Cosentino also serves as the Director of the Monks' Leadership Academy, a program implemented in the spring of 2019 designed to assist in the development of leadership skills. The Leadership Academy aspires to instill leadership skills in SJC student-athletes by challenging and guiding them to analyze and then develop their own leadership traits.
