Recruit Profile
Aggressive, athletic, intelligent and confident leader in goal. Great respect for coaches, teammates and the game of lacrosse. Determined to grow every time on the field. High lax IQ.

In 6th grade, I played lacrosse for the first time and loved it! I have played soccer, football, basketball, baseball, golf, track and I love to snowboard; but lacrosse is the sport I chose to pursue. I played attack my first few years, then coach put me in goal in 8th grade. As a freshman, I was JV starting goalie and Varsity #1 backup goalie. In 10th grade, I was starting goalie with Save Percentage of 52% and won Varsity MVP. Sophomore year was when other coaches started noticing my play and I decided to pursue playing in college. In Summer 2019, I was honored to play for Road Warriors 2021 National team and also played for the Iroquois Nationals Development Team at the LI LaxFest.

Nick Greiwe - previous Head Coach Seven Hills: "I got to coach Blake his freshman and sophomore years at Seven Hills. Quiet, hard working, and wicked smart keeper with excellent field vision. His size makes him a formidable presence in the cage, but his quick twitch reflexes make him almost unstoppable. Blake is a stone wall in the cage and a bonafide extra man to assist with clears. Blake is a high level D1 keeper and his resume shows it."

Jamey Foley - Coach/Director, Headlines Lacrosse: "Bake has above average athletic ability, not only for a goalie, but for any athlete. His up and down and side to side movement is explosive and his hand-eye coordination is special. Blake is a player you want on any team - Leads through putting in the work on and off the field, extremely coachable in every sense of the word. Blake is a field general directing his defense and getting his teammates to adjust to what he wants when he wants. He has an extreme will to always learn and get better, but also to make other people around him better as well."

I volunteer at my church and for the Cincinnati Reds Rookie Success League for underprivelaged youth. I plan to study Computer Science/Engineering. My older siblings have given me insight into this major because my brother is at Ohio State in Computer Science, while my sister is studying Civil Engineering at Purdue University. I know I can be successful at a top-tier engineering school. I'm inspired by my mom who played 2 sports at the D2 level. I would love the opportunity to play lacrosse in college.

I had the privilege to coach Blake at the club and high school levels. Absolute stud in the cage, incredible IQ, un-coachable size. This kid is the whole package at a high DI level. Call me to discuss 513-237-1900.
