Bryan England

Apr 3, 2020

I have had the privilege to coach Brady over the last few summers. I have watched him grow into an extremely talented lacrosse player. Brady always stood out athletically and you could see that, if he could harness his potential, how much up side he had. Brady has been extremely coachable and has developed into that player that we knew he could be. He sees the ball extremely well, doesn’t get rattled in cage and has excellent stick skills that helped us get into the transition game quickly. Although he is very talented athletically, it is his leadership and attitude that I have always been most impressed with. He commands the field and his teammates follow his lead. They feed off his energy and listen as he commands the defense. He has a passion for the little things in the game and is a true grinder. I can always tell a lot about an athlete when they lose and Brady no matter in practice or game (remember this is summer ball) hates to lose. I always think you need three things to play at the college level: 1. You need to be able to athletically compete. 2. Have to have a passion for the game and be willing to work hard. College is a grind. 3. You need to love to compete and hate to lose. Brady has all those qualities.
