Brendan McCrudden comes to Quincy from King’s College.

As a four year member of the Monarchs from 2011-2014 McCrudden played in 46 career games with 44 starts.

Previous to joining the Hawk coaching staff he spent 2 seasons coaching club lacrosse for 3 Tribes Lacrosse based out of New York and worked as a goalie specific coach with athletes from 5th grade to rising college freshmen.

During his tenure with Monarchs he proceeded to break the Goals Against Average record in his Sophomore (7.1), Junior (6.8), and Senior (7.6) year landing him the program record for Goals Against Average with a career 7.27 goals per game.

Between the pipes McCrudden was part of a campaign that saw the programs first ever playoff game in his sophomore year and continued the trend throughout his career. Also, during his junior year he was part of a program best 10-4 season where he was part of a defense that ranked 17th nationally in Goals Against Average. Throughout much of his Junior campaign McCrudden ranked first nationally in both save percentage and goals against average as part of a prolific defense.

He leaves the Monarch program being the winningest goalie in program history.

McCrudden graduated from King’s College in 2014 with a B.A. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. Later graduating from Quincy University with a Masters in Counseling where he resides as a Success Coach and adjunct Faculty member.
