Recruit Profile
Knack for ground balls, extreme desire to improve, solid lacrosse IQ from watching my game film and college games, multi-sport athlete, love the game of lacrosse.
My mom, dad, and uncle all played lacrosse in college so you could say it runs in the family. I've been playing since the third grade and have played every position. My dad, who was my rec league coach, even had me play goalie one year because he said that's what the team needed. And even though I'm an LSM now, I play attack and midfield for my high school because we need the offense. I started as a freshmen and sophomore and was the second leading scorer each year (my older brother was first). Lacrosse isn't big at my school so many guys are picking up a stick for the first time. I spend a lot of time teaching my teammates the game and what they need to do. It also means we're not very good which is why my club team is so important to me. It gives me the chance to play with kids that are at the same level or better than me and gives me the opportunity to play against the top teams in the country.
In addition to lacrosse, I play varsity high school basketball. I'm in a club called DECA which is a business and marketing club. Freshmen year I only made it to Regionals but as a sophomore and junior I made it to States. I have a huge interest in cars. My parents are always amazed when I see a car and can tell them the make, model and various specs. I follow guys like Doug Demuro and watch a show called TheStraightPipes. The thought of working in the car industry seems pretty cool which is why I think I want to major in business.
Beyond that, twice a month I deliver food to people who need it through an organization called Open Hand. It has brought me to places and living conditions I didn't know exist so it continues to remind me that not everyone is as fortunate as I am and that's it's important to always try to give back.
