Brittany Hartmann is in her third year as the head women's lacrosse coach at Pacific University.

Hartmann comes to Pacific after coaching previously at Northwest Conference members Linfield (2015-18) and George Fox (2013-14).

In her first season, Roya Tahmassebi and Mackenzie Brown secured second team all-Northwest Conference honors. Tahmassebi led the Boxers with 29 goals and was second on the team with three assists. She had a hat trick in seven games including a season-high five goals on a pair of occasions. Brown, who enjoyed her first season as a member of the Boxers' lacrosse team, was one of three Pacific players to play and start all 13 games. She scored a season-high two goals against Wartburg (March 6) and Whitworth (April 12).

She served as the head lacrosse coach at Linfield in 2018, leading the program to its best season in 10 years. Linfield finished the season third in the Northwest Conference with a 4-4 record and 6-7 overall. The Wildcats landed a program best four players on the all-conference team.

Hartmann has also served as a lacrosse coach at nearby high schools in Glencoe and in Wilson. Plus, the Portland native has gained additional experience as a member of the coaching staff with the Lacrosse Northwest Select Club.

As a student-athlete at Pacific, she was named the Female Athlete of the Year for 2012-13. Over her four-year lacrosse career, she is the school record holder in eight-different categories and was a two-time team captain. Hartmann also played on the Pacific women’s soccer team, setting school records in five-different categories. She was named the team MVP in 2010 and a two-time team captain in 2011 and in 2012.

Her academic efforts earned her recognition on the Capital One CoSIDA Academic All-District Team, Dean’s List on a pair of occasions and induction into the Phi Eta Sigma Honor Society.

Hartmann graduated from Pacific with a degree with cum laude honors in Chemistry with a Physics minor in the spring of 2013.
