Calli Dunn
Recruit Profile
Tall, fast, and athletic multi-sport athlete - 2 way Midfielder with great Lax IQ at both ends of the field. Coachable, unselfish, and strong stick skills with either hand.
I am a multi-sport varsity athlete who plays soccer, basketball, lacrosse, and track and field. I was finally able to have my first high school lacrosse season as a sophomore. Our high school team had a historic season going 13-2, winning our B-South division, and having the first shutout in program history. During my sophomore season, I totaled 34 goals, 16 assists, 32 ground balls, 37 draw controls (sharing time with a senior), and 17 forced turnovers. I was also nominated as one of the top 75 sophomores in the State of New Jersey. I started off my Junior season strong by being named a Captain of the Barnegat High School Lacrosse Team. We are currently 3 weeks into our season with a record of 9-0 and I am our team stat leader with 44 goals and 32 assists totaling 76 points. Besides this year, I have been an avid lacrosse player for many years and a part of Jersey Shore Select club team (formerly T3 Shore) for the past six years.
Throughout playing sports, I have been able to maintain a high GPA. In middle school, I earned the title of Valedictorian (around 280 students in my class) after three years of hard work and dedication to advancing my education. I am currently enrolled in a magnet public high school ranked top 5 in the state of New Jersey, Marine Academy of Technology and Environmental Science (MATES). I have received High Honor Roll as a freshman, sophomore, and junior at my all honors high school. Additionally, I was given the opportunity to present the research that I have conducted over the past couple of years in the categories of zoology and physics. After presenting my sophomore year project, I won second place in the Zoology category as well as the NOAA Special Award and the Drexel BEES Special Award at the Jersey Shore Science Fair and Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair for my research project. After presenting my junior year project, I won second place in the Physics category at the Jersey Shore Science Fair and moved on to the Delaware Valley Regional Science Fair. As an active member of my community, I am a member of the National Honors Society and Vice President of my class. I also try my best to be involved in as many clubs as possible.
