Camdyn Bullard
Recruit Profile
I am a very competitive, multi-sport athlete. I play an aggressive game, and I am always determined to improve myself. In order to get better I understand the importance of discipline and practice. I have always been told I have a very high sports IQ and that I am very coachable. I take pride in that because that comes from coaches that I have played for and respect. I always give 110% on the field and in the classroom. And of course, I strive to be the best player, and to help my teammates do the same.
I have been raised in a sports family with many collegiate athletes. At a very young age I was introduced to most all sports, to see where my personal interest and natural talents coincide. I was actually introduced to lacrosse through my older brothers. In fact, I began my competitive lacrosse experience playing boys' lacrosse. It took my family and the coaches two seasons of boys' lacrosse to convince me to give girls lacrosse a try. I liked the fast-paced, aggressive boys' game, and was unsure if I would enjoy girls' lacrosse. The transition to lacrosse was easy for me since my other predominate sport is basketball, in fact, I truly believe this has helped make me a better lacrosse player, that and being raised as one of six kids, the majority being boys. I started playing girls' lacrosse and really began to love the girl's version of the game. I currently attend Summerlin Military Academy, we are under the Bartow High School umbrella, therefore, I play sports with Bartow High School. My Freshman year, I was a varsity starter on the Bartow Lacrosse Team and the Bartow Basketball Team. My Freshman lacrosse year, I was awarded most goals, most ground balls, and was named second team All-Area. My team was also awarded the 2019 Women's Lacrosse Officials Organization Sportsmanship Team Award. In addition to these lacrosse awards, I earned basketball awards of All-Area Honorable Mention, Bartow 2018-2019 Top Newcomer Award and 2018-2019 Top Scholar-Highest GPA on Bartow Girls' Varsity Basketball Team. I also have many Academic Awards from my Freshman year, including 2018-2019 BESTT Hall of Fame Honoree, 2018-2019 Top Scholar Honoree, 2018-2019 FFA Green Hand Degree, and 2018-2019 Academic Excellence Award for Russian. For my Sophomore year, our school and lacrosse season was abruptly ended. In the 8 games we played this season, I had 37 total points, 40 ground ball and a .846 shots on goal percentage. I was named to the 2020 All-Area Varsity Lacrosse First Team. My Junior year, I ended the season with 57 goals, 16 assists, and 64 groundballs.
I was also awarded All-Area Varsity Lacrosse First Team. Academically, I will have completed 24 dual enrollment courses and I have a 4.0 GPA, ranked #8 in my class.
