My name is Cameron Christie and I am a junior (2023) at the Severn School in Severna Park, MD. I am a left-handed lacrosse goalie and play in the IAAM-A conference for Severn School and also with Integrity Lacrosse Club. I’ve been playing lacrosse since I was seven years old and in 6th grade, I decided to become a goalie and have never looked back!
As a goalie, I am:
* comfortable out of the crease - picking up cutters, passes, or being pressured
* love to switch hands when catching and throwing
* am active with my stick and act like an extra defensemen
* love the clearing game with my stick or my feet
As a team player, I am:
* always asking questions
* constantly trying to get better
* the loudest on the field - I support my team and we talk a LOT
* adjusting quickly and move on when I make a mistake
As a student, I am active in school on and off the field. I keep busy by:
* taking the highest level classes I can take in English, Science and History
* National Honors Society
* playing Varsity basketball in addition to Varsity lacrosse
* serving as a Student Ambassador
* being an active leader of several school clubs
* working Part-Time in an ice cream shop in downtown Annapolis, MD

Kathy Rudkin
Cameron is a strong and confident left handed goalie. Some of her greatest strengths include communication with her defensive teammates and her ability to accurately clear the ball under pressure. She is natural leader with a positive and encouraging presence both in cage and off the field. She has a short memory and intangible fearlessness that is needed for any goalie!
