Cameron Lienhardt
Recruit Profile
Dynamic and explosive with grit and determination. I am an extremely hard working, aggressive and dedicated multi-varsity sport athlete with a high sports IQ and a true passion for lacrosse.
Lacrosse has been such a crucial part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started playing lacrosse in first grade and that really formed the person that I became. Lacrosse taught me some of the most valuable lessons growing up and it's been my outlet, a very natural environment for me. After my injury, I had a very hard time going without the sport, but my primary goal was to rehabilitate and be able to get back to what I love to do. That period of time, when I had to rebuild my knee, showed me how hard I could work and how far I could push myself if I wanted something badly enough. People say that an injury weakens you, but I believe that it gave me more mental and physical strength than I knew was possible. This spring, after two season of making varsity but not being able to compete (because of Covid-19 and injury) I am more than excited to play at MKA and I am so fortunate to have not missed any time with my outstanding club team, BBL Elite (Black 2023).
Along with lacrosse, I have also been playing field hockey since first grade and been on varsity since freshman year as well. Being a multi-sport student-athlete is so important to me and I take great pride in being very strong academically. Additionally, at school, I am involved in multiple extracurricular activities. These include being the Junior Editor of the yearbook, a member of the Global Leadership committee and I have recently sent in an application to be a Morgan's Message ambassador. I believe that everyone should be able to feel healthy not only physically but mentally and I really want to do my part to help athletes who feel like they don't have the outlet that they need.
