I started playing lacrosse in 1st grade when all of my soccer friends encouraged me to try it out. I grew up playing lacrosse and it has become a vital part of my everyday life. I have become a key player on my high school's team. I was named a captain my junior year, helping to lead us in qualifying for our first state tournament ever. Additionally, I was nominated for PASLA Student Athlete of the Year and was named to the AACA All Star team. Outside of school, I have played for Ultimate Lacrosse since 6th grade. I pride myself in my draw control abilities, 30 to 30 play, being composed under pressure, and being a team player. I have grown immensely from my teammates and coaches, and hope to continue making these connections in the future. Academically, I have a 3.947 GPA, have maintained Honor Roll since freshmen year, and recently received my grade's Christian Morality award. I will be taking AP Art History, AP Literature, and AP Spanish next year. I am also heavily involved in the community, as I am the president of the Athletic Association and Bring Change 2 Mind club, along will participating in Diversity Club and Environmental Club. I also coach youth lacrosse for my community and am an active volunteer at Germantown Community Fridge and Friends of the Wissahickon. Through sports, I have been able to organize multiple food drives that have gone to combating Philly hunger.
