To all of my family, teachers, coaches, and peers, I am known to be extremely driven. My top priority will always be academics, and my hard work is reflected by my 4.4/4.0 cumulative GPA. In 9th grade, I received an award for being top of my class. I have always taken the most challenging classes that are offered and I work hard to excel in them.

As an athlete, I am always striving to put in as much extra work as possible. I devote any free time that I have towards speed, strength, and skills. I make time in my schedule for both strength training and speedwork to increase overall athleticism. I am also consistently working on my stick skills and defensive technique.

On the lacrosse field, my biggest strength is my lax IQ and field vision. I am a smart defender, always thinking three steps ahead in a game and planning the best next move. I’m a natural leader and effectively communicate through tough situations. I also have strong stick skills and am very comfortable switching between hands, making me strong in transitioning the ball out from defense. On the draw, I win the ball with my strength to place the ball where I can easily snag it with one hand.

I keep myself very busy by managing a challenging academic schedule, devoting countless hours towards lacrosse and fitness, and also working a 20 to 30-hour workweek as a waitress. I make myself as busy as possible to prepare for the time commitment of being a college student-athlete. Overall, lacrosse is my passion and I strive to be the best at what I do in all areas of my life.
