Carlie Cutinella
Recruit Profile
Competitive multi-sport athlete with team first mentality. Disciplined, dedicated and committed on and off the field.
My name is Carlie Cutinella, and I am a rising Junior. I have always loved playing lacrosse from the moment I picked up my 1st stick, a fiddlestick. Being the only girl, and having three older brothers, I had no choice but to play right along with them. Since ninth grade, I have played Varsity Lacrosse, Soccer & Basketball and was honored to be named one of the captains of our team. Recently, I was selected to represent my section in the NYSPHSAA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. I'm excited to speak on behalf of my peers and be apart of their mission to promote safety, sportsmanship, and leadership in the classroom and athletic arena. I look forward to growing my leadership skills through this opportunity. This upcoming year, I decided to challenge myself off the field by taking honors and AP courses in the classroom. To play lacrosse in college is something I've always aspired to achieve. I have always looked up to my brothers and aspire to be just like them. My older brother is a freshman at Princeton University & AFROTC. My second oldest brother is a senior at UMASS Amherst playing lacrosse. My oldest brother aspired to one day play football at the USMA at West Point. Unfortunately, when he was 16, he passed away from a high school football game. I know that he would have successfully achieved that goal of his. He was the best person I have ever known in my life and my biggest inspiration! I work harder and value everything because of him. I volunteer at my local church, a grief camp & throughout the community when ever needed. I try to be the best person I can be on and off the field.

I have had the privilege of coaching Carlie for 2 years. Carlie displays the maturity, leadership and dedication that all coaches look for in student-athlete. Carlie leads by example, by always giving 100% effort, while motivating and inspiring her teammates with words and actions both on/off the court.
